This is a Rondure or perfectly Spherical cremation urn for ashes. I love crafting round things and the perfect globe shape as it is symbolic of many things like perfection, the circle of life and strength with no beginning and no end.
This particular urn is glazed in my "Anemone" shade. Depending on many variables this glaze can be a light aqua right through many tones of blue, deep royal purple and sometimes a rich metallic grey. This time the urn is mostly a gorgeous rich blue with aqua undertones and touches of purple. A truly unique piece as was your loved one. Inside is covered with a clear gloss.
