The flame urn is an unorthodox representation of eternal life.
This Flame Urn was lovingly created using a vintage plaster mould and liquid clay called slip. The glaze is called Anemone and depending on kiln temperature, thickness and other factors can be anything from light aqua through to vivid purple and dark silver. This one has touches of aqua, light and dark blue through to flashes of royal purple. Just stunning in real life.
Fan Urns have a 880ml capacity so are not large enough for all the ashes of an adult person. However, they are perfect for scattering partial ashes or for ashes of a large pet about the size of a bull terrier as suggested in the Ash Urn Size Guide
